The Masterclass

In this Masterclass Week your child will get the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and techniques of what makes a believable, compelling screen actor.

As we build upon these skills and techniques in a fun and uplifting environment, students will also be guided to tap into their casting potential and also have the chance to write their own monologue or scene. They will get to work on their acting technique using these scenes, alongside other pieces and monologues from TV, Film and Theatre shows.

Our young budding actors will end the week by having a scene of their choice professionally filmed and edited with high end filming equipment in a studio like set up, learning how to work on a set and apply all of the techniques they have been learning.

With filmed acting material that they get to keep - this can just serve as a wonderful memory or even be used as a showreel they can send to agents and casting directors to get started in the industry.

The Details

• Workshop dates: August 25th – 29th (half days - exact timings TBC)

• Location: Wanstead, East London (exact location TBC)

• Price: £350  (to include the Masterclass Week and a professionally filmed & edited monologue / scene).

N.B. Scenes will be sent over within in a week of the course finishing, and all video material of participants will be permanently deleted after a month of being sent over to parents / guardians.

Taught by Lead Acting Coach Laura

As a professional actor who trained at RADA , I have worked on films that have streamed on Netflix and Amazon Prime, premiered at international film festivals and have played lead roles at various London Theatres. I love getting to use my training and experience to pass on the joy and skill of Acting to children in a way that helps build their confidence and sense of self expression.

With an emphasis on inner empowerment , I use my expertise of what makes an engaging , compelling performer (and the practical techniques and skills required to do this) with the mindset work needed to positively shape our self-perception and authentic sense of self-expression.
