LAMDA 1:1 Online Lessons
I am passionate about helping children to find their voice and sense of self-expression, and encourage them to believe in themselves and what they have to offer the world. Studying LAMDA is a wonderfully fun and rewarding way for children to do this. - Laura, Lead Coach
In our 1 hr online sessions we work towards a specific LAMDA subject - usually either Acting, Public Speaking or Speaking Verse and Prose. Through this, students grow their confidence and self expression, as well as learn vital performance and communication skills, in a fun and uplifting environment - where lessons are tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
Students have the option to work with a variety of different material informed by their chosen subject (e.g monologues, speeches, poetry), with the end goal being to prepare pieces to perform off by heart in a LAMDA Exam.
These prestigious exams are graded (with certificates awarded) and considered an amazing achievement recognised and regarded highly across educational institutions - with Grade 6 and above exams even qualifying for earning UCAS points!
My Lessons
My 1-hour online lessons allow us to delve deeper into vocal and performance technique, and to include those all-important creativity and improvisation exercises. These not only aid in the students' exam preparation and essential performance skills, but also help students to learn how to think on their feet, communicate spontaneously, and learn how to develop a strong sense of self-belief, self-expression, and a confidence that they can take into any situation they face in life.
My Approach
I believe that the way to truly empower students, and help them build life-long confidence and skills, is to create a nurturing and uplifting environment for students to flourish in. Although my students' results speak for themselves - with a 100% pass rate, and 80% of those results being high level Distinctions - what I teach and how I teach is much more than simply passing an exam.
Yes, students will be taught and prepared to take their LAMDA Exam of choice and encouraged and coached to deliver to their highest potential. That sense of achievement that students gain from this structured syllabus, graded exam and exciting certificate is a wonderful celebration of the entire process.
However, what excites me most about teaching LAMDA is who the students grow into along the way. I am most passionate about how the journey can help a student blossom into the most confident, self-assured, expressive version of themselves, with an empowered mindset and a strong sense of self-belief.
My Background
As a professional actor who trained at RADA , I have worked on films that have streamed on Netflix and Amazon Prime, premiered at international film festivals and I have played lead roles at various London Theatres. I have used all this experience to impart invaluable wisdom on Acting and Public Speaking skills to my students. I have years of experience as a LAMDA Exams Coach, teaching in some of the most prestigious schools in London, and love to be able to offer online sessions that are accessible to all students wherever they may be in the country (or the world)!
The Details
First Step
I like to start by arranging a phone call to discuss your child and get to know a little bit more about them, as well as answer any questions you may have.
From there, we would book in an initial session which acts as a chance for the student to understand what lessons with me will be like and allow for an assessment on my end. The assessment will include seeing where the student is at with their communication and performance skills and ascertain what our areas of focus would be. It is also a chance for the student to try out the three different LAMDA subjects in order to assess which LAMDA pathway will be the best one for them to take.
Booking Lessons
I then get in touch following this session with my feedback and recommendations. From there I take lesson bookings in blocks of 6 where we arrange a weekly time slot.

My 1 hr lessons are priced at £60 per session.
